Mark Morel is the president and CEO of Procuri, Inc., the leader in the On Demand, Supply Management marketplace. Mr. Morel brings a wealth of practical experience in management and finance to XOsphere. Prior to Procuri, he was co-founder and chief administrative officer of Just Care, Inc., a private medical prison firm. Previously, Mr. Morel founded and served on the Board of Directors and as president and COO of Multi-Media Data Systems, a healthcare software development firm. Before founding MDS, he served as president of Meridian VAT Reclaim Inc., the U.S. marketing arm of a multi-national financial services company. Mr. Morel began his career on Wall Street in the investment banking group of Shearson American Express (now Lehman Brothers), where he held various positions, rising to the title of vice president prior to leaving and starting his first company. Mr. Morel serves on the advisory board for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the board of trustees of The Center for the Visually Impaired (www.cviatlanta.org), and as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (www.bbbsatl.org). Mr. Morel received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tulane.
Stephen's background includes over 25 years of utilizing advance technologies to generate millions of loyal constituents for many different types of enterprises, from large, national non-profit organizations, to state and federal political campaigns and Fortune 500 companies. The direct marketing skills he has honed over the years are a crucial element in XOsphere's ability to cost-effectively attract, and profitably retain a high volume of dedicated users. Prior to co-founding XOsphere, Stephen was President of Nacio Interactive and Vice President of Business Development for Nacio Systems, a San Francisco Bay Area software application, development and hosting enterprise. He was director of his own company, Isis Systems Group, for eight years prior to its successful merger with Nacio. His early career, included stints as Planning Director at the Washington DC-based direct marketing firm of Craver, Mathews, Smith & Co. and as Circulation Director of The Nation magazine. Stephen received his BA in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and resides in San Francisco, CA.
SPrior to joining XOsphere, Andrew was a principal with 34 North, a marketing and branding consultancy, and Managing Director of Dod/Pritchard Communications, a technology-focused PR firm. At Dod/Pritchard, Andrew actively contributed to firm's growth from two partners and zero revenue to 25 professionals and $3MM within 2 years. Prior to Dod/Pritchard, Andrew was with Ketchum Communications, one of the world's largest PR firms, where he directed major accounts including Hitachi Consumer Electronics and emerging wireless and telecom companies. Andrew was Director of Corporate Communications for Hayes Microcomputer Products where he directed campaigns in U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pac. Prior to Hayes, Andrew held a series of executive positions at various non-profit organizations, responsible for lobbying, public policy and public affairs. Andrew is a magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University and served as the Annenberg Fellow at Eton College in England.
Demetrio has more than a decade of experience in both the interactive and entertainment industries. Prior to co-founding XOsphere, he most recently served as Director of Client Services and Sales for the interactive division of a Tier 1 managed hosting company, Nacio Systems, while also coordinating the group's production pipeline. In that role, Demetrio oversaw the annual design and development of an interactive CD-ROM released by the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC), a UN sponsored NGO,which reports on the spread of hate and terrorism online and repeatedly garners attention in national and international media. Demetrio's rich professional experience has included clients such as Warner Brothers, DreamWorks Music, Reuters America, and the New York City-based commercial real estate firm of Olympia & York. Demetrio is a graduate of the University of Virginia, holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of San Diego, and is an award-winning filmmaker.
Manuel's background includes over 10 years of building and managing growth in top companies and is a founding partner of Beyond IT, a software development company based in Argentina. Previously, Manuel was Vice President of Business Development at BS Consulting Services, a software application development and an IT outsourcing firm. He was IT Manager for the Latin America region at The Thomas Cook Group Inc. one of the world's largest financial and tourist companies, achieving sales in the Banking Comex industry for over 100 million dollars per year and taking care of the development of the Comex applications and interacting with several software factories in India, Brazil and Argentina. Manuel earned his BS in Marketing & Advertisement from the University of Social and Business Studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Manuel resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
